Built by the Manufacturer
We're TAY Sports — manufacturer of the Rigid Air Technology (RAT) used in this goal and several other inflatable goal brands. We've engineered portable goal systems since 2005 and ship directly to clubs, colleges, and adult leagues across North America. This 24'×8' is the FIFA full-regulation size — the same playing surface used in professional and adult sanctioned matches. For training, scrimmage, and adult casual play where you need the real geometry without a permanent installation, this is the goal.
Who This Goal Is — and Isn't — For
This goal is right for you if:
- You coach U16+ or adult teams and need full FIFA-regulation goal mouth for training
- You run adult recreational, college intramural, or alumni leagues where steel is unavailable
- You host clinics, camps, or tournaments needing fast multi-field deployment
- You train in indoor facilities where steel goals are prohibited (floor damage)
- You need realistic match preparation but the league supplies its own steel for actual matches
Not the right fit if:
- You play sanctioned 11v11 league matches (governing bodies require FIFA-spec rigid steel/aluminum)
- You coach youth under U16 — the 12'×6' or 16'×7' is the developmentally correct size
- You need a permanent installation (in-ground steel is more durable for 25+ year facility use)
- You only have one coach for setup and no other goals on the field (consider smaller sizes for solo deployment)

Setup — Step by Step
- 1
Choose location and unroll
Lay the deflated goal flat with at least 3 m of clear space behind for the net. Full-size goals need more rear clearance than smaller sizes due to deeper net geometry.
- 2
Connect the pump and inflate to 1 Bar
Attach the included manual pump. Pump until the pressure indicator reaches 1 Bar (15 PSI). The frame rises to full upright over about 3 minutes — significantly longer than smaller sizes due to internal volume. Consider an optional electric pump for high-frequency deployment.
- 3
Verify frame rigidity at three points
Press firmly on the crossbar at center and at both ends. Each point should feel rigid with under 1 cm of give. The full-size geometry means under-pressure shows up first at the crossbar center — if soft, add 15-20 more pump strokes.
- 4
Anchor for your surface
On grass or turf, drive all 8 included ground stakes through the back and side anchor loops at 30-degree outward angles. On indoor or pavement, attach 25 lb sandbags to each back corner plus 2 at back center (6 sandbags total). For full-size on hard surfaces, undersized anchoring is the most common safety issue.
- 5
Final safety check
Pull firmly downward on the front edge of the crossbar at center, each end, and each side. The goal must not pivot backward at any test point. The full-size frame multiplies tip-over leverage compared to smaller goals — comprehensive anchoring is non-negotiable. This is the same test the EN 16579 standard specifies.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 24'×8' goal the same size as a real FIFA goal?
Yes. 24 feet wide × 8 feet tall (7.32m × 2.44m) is the FIFA-regulation goal size for adult and U16+ 11v11 play. The geometry is identical to a steel FIFA-spec goal; the only difference is the inflatable frame replaces a rigid metal one.
Can we use this goal for sanctioned 11v11 league matches?
No. Adult and U16+ sanctioned league play requires FIFA-spec rigid frame goals — steel or aluminum — under governing body rules. This goal is a training and scrimmage tool. The home team or facility will supply the steel goals for actual matches.
How long does setup take for the full size?
4-5 minutes by one person with the manual pump, or 2.5 minutes with two people taking turns pumping, or under 90 seconds with an optional electric pump. The internal frame volume is roughly 3× the 12'×6' Junior, which accounts for the longer pump time.
How does it compare to a steel FIFA goal for ball rebound?
At 1 Bar / 15 PSI frame pressure with a 4-inch frame diameter, struck balls rebound essentially the same as off FIFA-spec steel. Adult players practicing finishing on this goal develop habits that transfer directly to match play on steel goals.
Is anchoring more critical at this size?
Yes. Full-size geometry multiplies the tip-over leverage compared to smaller goals. Use all 8 included stakes on grass/turf, or 6 sandbags (25 lb each, back corners and back center) on indoor/pavement. Pull-test the front of the crossbar before allowing players on the field — this is the same test the EN 16579 standard specifies.
Can it be used indoors in a gym or sport court?
Yes — that's one of the strongest use cases. Steel goals damage gym and sport court flooring; inflatable goals don't. The 24'×8' fits in most college and high school gymnasiums. Anchor with sandbags (the back-corner loops accept them directly), and confirm the gym's ceiling height is at least 9 ft for full crossbar clearance.
How long will it last with regular adult use?
5-7 years for the frame with weekly use; nets typically need replacement at year 2-3. Adult-level shots are within the goal's rated impact tolerance. Patch kits handle the rare puncture in 5 minutes. For a club running adult sessions 2-3 times weekly, 5-year cost-per-session is significantly lower than amortized steel goal costs.
How Clubs and Schools Use It
- College and adult recreational 11v11: 2 goals at field ends for full pitch training
- High school varsity training on shared facility: 2 goals enabling full-size practice when varsity field is unavailable
- Indoor adult leagues in gymnasiums and sport courts: 2 goals where steel is prohibited
- Tournament organizers running adult brackets: 4-8 goals for simultaneous-field tournament play
