Compliance & Documentation

Standards, Attestations & Buyer Documentation

We're TAY Sports, the manufacturer of this training line. This page states plainly which safety standards our equipment is built to, which documents we provide for an institutional purchase order, and where the line sits between a signed manufacturer's attestation and third-party certification. We'd rather under-claim and be exact than over-claim and lose a procurement officer's trust.

Standards We Build To

Attestation available

EN 16579 — Portable Soccer Goals

The current European safety standard for portable and freestanding soccer goals (last revised 2018). Our goals are engineered and built to meet its anti-tip, structural-load, and entrapment requirements. We supply a signed manufacturer's Declaration of Compliance referencing the standard, backed by our internal test records.

Attestation available

IEC 60598 / IP65 — Field Lighting

The Ecowalker Light is built to the IEC 60598 luminaire safety framework with an IP65 ingress rating — dust-tight and protected against water jets, suitable for outdoor and pitch-side use. Signed IP65 safety attestation available on request and below.

CE Marking

CE marking is in progress as part of our 2026 documentation program for the EU market. We will publish the certificate here the moment it is issued. Until then we do not display a CE mark we have not earned.

EN 14960 — Inflatable Equipment

EN 14960, the inflatable-play-equipment standard relevant to certain inflatable structures, is in progress. Listed here as in-progress, not claimed.

Documentation Package for Institutional Buyers

Every institutional purchase order comes with the documents a procurement, finance, or risk officer needs to clear the vendor. Project-specific signed attestations (your PO or project name on the document) are turned around in 1–2 business days.

  • W-9 — for US vendor setup and 1099 reporting.
  • Certificate of Insurance (COI) — naming your organization as needed.
  • EN 16579 compliance attestation — signed Declaration of Compliance.
  • IP65 lighting attestation — where field lighting is on the order.
  • MSDS / material safety data — TPU fabric and component safety data.
  • Warranty terms — written coverage and claim process.
  • Return & freight terms — clear, in writing, before the PO.

An Honest Word on Claims

Some suppliers blur "built to a standard" and "third-party certified." We don't. For portable soccer goals, EN 16579 uses a manufacturer self-declaration route — there is no mandatory external certificate, so what you should expect (from us or anyone) is a signed Declaration of Compliance plus the test records behind it. That's exactly what we provide. For field lighting we hold an IEC 60598 / IP65 safety attestation. Where a third-party certificate is still in progress (CE, EN 14960), we say in progress rather than implying we already hold it. If a claim isn't on this page, treat it as one we won't make.
