TAY Sports Internal Tools: Privacy & Data Deletion

TAY Sports Internal Tools is an internal business application used by authorised administrators to manage our business pages, social content, product information and advertising. Information the application uses

Depending on the access granted, the application may process business, page and account identifiers; authorised administrator identifiers; published or planned posts, images and videos; product-catalogue information; advertising settings; and performance statistics. Access tokens are used to connect to the platforms and are kept separate from public content.

Purpose and access

We use this information to publish and manage business content, check account and advertising status, measure performance, maintain product information and diagnose operational errors. The application is operated for our own business accounts. It does not offer public account registration or ask shoppers to sign in with a social-media account.

Storage and sharing

Operational records are held in our restricted business systems. Authorised operators and infrastructure providers process information as needed to run those systems. Content selected for publication is sent to the relevant platform and becomes visible according to that platform’s settings. We do not sell connected-platform data or provide access tokens in public posts, reports or website pages.

Retention

We retain operational records while needed to operate connected accounts, investigate errors, meet applicable obligations or resolve disputes. A deletion request is assessed against those purposes. Removing local application data does not automatically remove posts already published on a platform.

Disconnecting access and requesting deletion

You can remove the application’s access through the connected platform’s app or business-integration settings. To request deletion of data held by this application, email support@taysports.com with the subject “Internal Tools data deletion”. Identify the connected business account or page and the data you want removed. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

We will verify that the request comes from an authorised person, review the relevant records and explain the outcome, including any information that must be retained. For published content, specify the post or video so that its removal can be handled separately.
