Can these be used as regular spot markers without attaching to a goal?
Yes. The discs work as standalone flat spot markers on any surface — just use them without the straps.
Do the discs stay in position when hit by a ball?
The Velcro straps hold the disc securely against the frame during normal shooting drills. Heavy or repeated impact may shift the disc — reposition as needed between reps.
